NetID: Error - Unable to Login to Laptop that Authenticates on the UTK Active Directory After Resetting Password

Issue

When trying to sign in to a computer that authenticates on the UTK Active Directory after resetting your password, you are able to sign in with your old password but not the new password. 

Resolution 

To resolve the issue above, connect to Eduroam or connect to UT's wired network. After connecting, restart your computer. You should be able to sign in to the computer with the new password.
