Panopto: Locate Zoom Cloud Recordings in Panopto

Overview

Follow the instructions below to find where your Zoom Cloud recordings end up in Panopto both on the web interface and within Canvas.

Finding Your Zoom Cloud Recordings in Panopto

Your Zoom Cloud recordings will automatically import to your Meeting Recordings folder within the Panopto interface outside of Canvas at https://utk.hosted.panopto.com.

  1. Select the Browse button in the left-side menu in the Panopto interface outside of Canvas. 
  2. Select My Folder and click the arrow to reveal the Meeting Recordings folder.
    • Anything you've recorded in the Zoom Cloud will show up there.
  3. Click the Meeting Recordings folder to open it. 

Finding Your Zoom Cloud Recordings in the Panopto Interface in Canvas

Your Zoom Cloud recordings will automatically import to your Meeting Recordings folder within the Panopto interface in Canvas, too.

  1. Open Canvas and select the Panopto Video button (if enabled by you - see this Knowledge Base article to enable) in the left-hand menu or select the green Panopto Icon within the WYSIWYG content editor in Canvas.

  2. Use the drop-down menu at the top of the screen to reveal your Panopto content.
  3. Select Everything and your Meeting Recordings folder will appear on the list.
  4. Click Meeting Recordings to navigate to Panopto content that was recorded by you in the Zoom Cloud
