Clickers: Use a Mobile Device as a Clicker

Overview

Students can use their mobile devices as clickers/response devices by downloading the PointSolutions app, available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. After signing in to their Echo360 PointSolutions account, students will be able to join a session from the app.

Students may also participate in polling sessions via their web browser by visiting ttpoll.com and signing into their Echo360 account before joining a session on a web browser.

PointSolutions Quick Tips:

  • All participants using PointSolutions must use the NetID@tennessee.edu format when creating accounts and logging in to a polling session.
  • You are encouraged to use UTK Eduroam WiFi

  • Do NOT use a VPN when participating in a polling session - this can interfere with your submission.

  •

**It is your responsibility to periodically check your grades in Canvas throughout the semester to ensure your grades are appropriately uploaded and you receive points in class. Do NOT wait until the end of the semester to alert your instructor and OIT that you have not been regularly receiving clicker grades/points. Failure to notify your instructor and OIT in time may result in an inability to recover points, significantly impacting your grade. If you have any questions or problems with creating the account, please submit an OIT HelpDesk support ticket.
