Clickers: Use a Mobile Device as a Clicker

Students can use their mobile devices as clickers/response devices by downloading the PointSolutions app (formerly the TurningPoint app), available from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. After signing in to their Echo360 (Turning) account, students will be able to join a session from the app.

Students may also participate in polling sessions via their web browser by visiting ttpoll.com/ and signing into their Echo360 (Turning) account before joining a session on a web browser.

Please note that students are only permitted to use mobile device or web browser response methods at the instructor's discretion if the instructor has enabled mobile responses. In courses where mobile responses are not permitted, students must use only physical clickers, which can be purchased through the VolShop.

Below are step-by step instructions for logging in to a polling session using the PointSolutions app and web browser. This article also contains brief supplementary instructions on how to respond to multiple choice, short answer, numeric, and essay questions using the PointSolutions app on a mobile device.

Note: On January 11, 2022, Turning and Echo360 merged. Moving forward, you may see both PointSolutions/TurningPoint and Turning/Echo360 branding when using clickers.
