Overview
These instructions cover pinning an individual message within a Microsoft Teams chat conversation. You may wish to pin a chat message for everyone in your chat conversation to refer back to you. You may have only one chat message pinned at a time. If you pin another message, it will replace the currently pinned message. If you unpin a message or pin a different message and need to find the old message, you can still run a search for the message contents from the top of the page search bar.
Instructions
Hover over the message you want to pin to view the emoticon and ellipsis ... menu.- Go to the ellipsis ... menu on the message you want to pin.
- Select Pin.
