Software: Available Software and Applications Offered by OIT

Faculty, staff, and students have several options for gaining access to the software available to them. Available software is based on your affiliation, and all applications may not be available to you. When you log into the options below, access to the software will be based on your affiliation and installation options.

NOTE: If your affiliation is Member, please contact your departmental sponsor or the OIT HelpDesk for assistance.

  1. Download software to your computer
    Download and install software to your computer from the OIT Software Distribution site.
    Download and install free and open-source software from the vendor (FOSS).
  2. Apps@UTK
    Run an application from the OIT Apps servers. Open and save files on your computer and print to your printer. Use Apps@UTK from any Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, or Android device.
  3. Cloud software
    Access online or install software directly from the vendor. Examples include Microsoft Office ProPlus, Adobe Creative Cloud, Matlab, and Qualtrics.
