How to Install and Manage Outlook as a Progressive Web App (PWA)

1. Open Outlook in Your Browser
2. Install Outlook as a Progressive Web App (PWA)
For Google Chrome:

Click the three-dot menu (top-right corner).

Go to Cast, Save, and Share and select Install Outlook (PWA).


For Microsoft Edge:

Click the three-dot menu (top-right corner).

Navigate to Apps (or More Tools > Apps) and select Open in Outlook (PWA).

From the Outlook (PWA) window, click the three-dot menu again.

Select More Tools > Apps > Install Outlook (PWA).


3. Remove the Old Desktop App Shortcut

Locate the existing Outlook desktop app icon on your desktop.

Right-click > Delete (this only removes the shortcut, not the app itself).
4. Uninstall Outlook (PWA), if needed

In the Outlook (PWA) window, click the three-dot menu (top-right).

Select Uninstall Outlook (PWA), then confirm Uninstall.
