Overview
Periodically you will see an unregistered device within your PointSolutions Results Manager. To resolve this issue, instructors can assign the device manually to a student. The article below will walk you through the steps for assigning an unregistered device to a student.
*You will need to confirm the device ID prior to manually assigning it to a student. The device can be found within the student's profile within the PointSolutions app or via ttpoll.com
Instructions
1. Complete your Polling Session.
2. Return to the PointSolutions Dashboard.
3. Select Manage.
4. Select your course and the session file.
5. Select Results Manager.
6. Unassigned devices will be at the bottom of your names list.
7. Select the Unassigned Device ID.
8. In the Unassigned Device View, select Choose Participant.
9. Select the name of the student to whom the device should be assigned.
10. Select Assign to Participant.
11. Select Close.
The scores previously listed with the unassigned device should now be listed with the student. Any sessions with this new data should be uploaded (again) to Canvas.
