How to Download Panopto Presentations

NOTE: You must have Creator access to a presentation in order to download it. If you have Creator access, please follow the instructions below to download your Panopto presentation. Further instructions on downloading presentation slides from your Panopto presentation can be found here.

1. Click the Settings button on the video you wish to download. You'll see the information associated with the Overview tab displayed on the screen.
    
2. At the bottom of the "Session Information" section at the top, you'll see a section for Downloads. Click the menu and set it to "Admins, Videographers, and Creator only".
    
3. Click the Outputs tab in the video settings. Here you will see the Video Podcast area. From there, you can download your recording.
   • You can change the type of video (picture-in-picture, side-by-side, primary video only, secondary video only, tile all streams) and the quality of the stream (see photos below for more information).
   • You can't scale the stream quality higher than it was recorded in the first place. If you recorded in 720p, you can't scale it to 1080p.
   • NOTE: You must click Apply if you change any of the settings. If you change either the type of video or the quality settings, Panopto may need to re-process the recording before you can download.
     
     
     
     
     
      
4. Once the video podcast is ready, click Download Podcast to download your presentation.
