Zoom: Pin or Spotlight Video

Overview

The pin feature allows you to deactivate the active speaker view and view a specific speaker/webcam broadcast more prominently on the screen. This will only change your personal Zoom meeting layout.

  • You must have 2 or more participants broadcasting webcams in order to pin a participant video.

Similar to the pin feature, the spotlight feature allows meetings hosts to designate up to 9 participants as the primary active speakers. This option will change the Zoom meeting layout for all participants.
