Breakout Room content is not included in the meeting recording. However, if you wish to record Breakout Room activities and review that recording separately, try the following steps.
Tips for Recording Breakout Room Content
- Consider establishing a group leader for each Breakout Room. This participant (student) may be granted recording privileges in the main session. The recording privilege will carry over into the Breakout Room. To grant a participant the ability to record the session, select the Participant icon on the toolbar and then select More by the participant's name. Choose the option to Allow Record.
- Remind the group leader to start the recording when in the Breakout Room, and to stop the recording before leaving the Breakout Room.
- Discuss how the Breakout Room recording (MP4) will be shared after the recording renders. For example, the Breakout Room recording could be uploaded to a cloud storage location and shared from that location.
