Zoom Enterprise Agreement

Overview

The University of Tennessee has an Enterprise Agreement with Zoom. See below for details regarding licensing for Faculty, Staff, and Students. Licensed accounts are formerly known as "Pro" accounts.

  • As long as a Pro (Licensed) user initiates the meeting, that person can then pass the hosting duties to someone else...even someone outside the organization.

UTK / UTIA / UTSI

All active Faculty and Students will receive a Licensed account. Staff with Basic accounts may request an upgrade. Sponsored members and departmental NetIDs may request an upgrade; however, these requests are reviewed by our Zoom admins before fulfillment. 

UTHSC

All active Faculty, Staff, and Students will be prompted to move their accounts to the HIPAA Sub-Account and will be provisioned with a Licensed account.

UTM

All active Faculty, Staff, and Students will receive a Licensed account.

UTC

All active Faculty and Students will receive a Licensed account. Staff with Basic accounts may request an upgrade.

UTSA & IPS

All active Staff will receive a Licensed account. 

Retirees

Retiree access to a Licensed (Pro) Zoom account is only allowed if they are still active with a UT class, grant, or department (like a guest speaker in a series).
