Canvas: Get WebAssign Support

WebAssign Customer Support offers student and instructor support:

• Student Support: http://www.webassign.net/user_support/student/
• Instructor Support: http://www.webassign.net/user_support/faculty/

If you are unable to log in to WebAssign via your Online@UT (Canvas) course site (or you want to use another browser such as Safari), you may access WebAssign directly via webassign.net. BUT, you'll have to jump through a couple of hoops first:

1. Go to http://webassign.net/ and click on the Need help signing in? link in the Account Log In area, then select Forgot Password?.
    
2. You will be asked to enter your email address. Your WebAssign account is associated with your UT email address in this form: UTNetID@tennessee.edu.
    
3. Check your UT email to get your username and institution code. (It will be something like UTnetID::app-69. The institution code is utk.)
    
4. Click Reset Password or enter the recovery code (at the bottom of the email) in the browser window where you requested this email. You will then be able to log in directly via the WebAssign home page rather than via Canvas.
