Overview

 

Clipchamp is a simple-to-use app available to you in your Microsoft 365 subscription. Clipchamp has features from Flipgrid and Microsoft Stream combined into one app. Clipchamp works best with short videos. You can upload a video, use screen recording, record using your camera, and work on a video (or audio only) project.

Instructions

  1. Log into your Microsoft 365 account by going to office365.utk.edu
  2. Go to apps > more apps > all apps and find Clipchamp 
  3. Choose Video project  - this gives you the most options

    • Choose whether you want to record your screen and web camera, just yourself, the screen, audio only, or Text to speech using an AI voice
    • If you record your screen, you will be asked to select the window to use or the entire screen
    • When finished recording, go back to the Clipchamp tab in your web browser and either Save and edit the recording or Retake the recording
  4. To edit your recordings, you can add music, text, graphics, transitions, and more

  5. When finished, choose Export
  6. Choose the quality of the video (if saving audio only, you may need to open the drop down to choose audio only)
