Microsoft: Getting Started with M365 Apps

How to Access Microsoft 365 Applications

  1. Go to oit.utk.edu and locate the LOG INTO... drop-down and select Microsoft 365

    OR
    Using your browser, visit office365.utk.edu
  2. Enter your full UTK email address and select the Next button:
    • Faculty and staff use NetID@utk.edu
    • Students use NetID@vols.utk.edu
  3. If prompted, select the option for Work or school account
  4. Enter your password and select Sign in
  5. Authenticate using Duo, when prompted
  6. On the Stay signed in? display, select Yes if you are the primary user on your computer. Select No if others use this computer.
  7. Select Apps near the bottom of the screen (above your name)
     
  8. A list of apps may appear. If you do not see the app you wish to access, select All apps
     
    • Additional apps can be found by selecting All Apps again (the apps are in alphabetical order; please scroll until you find the app you wish to work with).
