Zoom: Zoom AI Companion

Overview

The Zoom AI Companion is now available in the main UT Zoom environment. The Zoom AI Companion includes features such as meeting summary, interactive content creation with new whiteboards, and recording highlights. Select this link to review the latest information from Zoom regarding the Zoom AI Companion and the features available.

  • The Zoom AI Companion is not enabled by default in your account settings.
  • To explore settings and enable the AI Companion tools for your meetings, please follow the steps below.

Instructions

Activate the Zoom AI features for your account:

  1. Go to tennessee.zoom.us. 
  2. Select Create or Edit Account to log in with your UT NetID and password. 
  3. In the left side menu, select Settings. Then, select AI Companion at the top of window.
  4. For options you want to activate, click the toggle button to turn them on.

After enabling AI Companion features, new icons will appear on the leader's toolbar. Select the icons to engage the Zoom AI Companion tools in real-time.
