Zoom: Zoom AI Companion

Overview

The Zoom AI Companion includes features such as meeting summary, interactive content creation with new whiteboards, and recording highlights. Select this link to review the latest information from Zoom regarding the Zoom AI Companion and the features available. 

  • To get started with activating the AI Companion in your UT Zoom account, review the AI Companion section in your account settings.
  • Then, during the meeting, select the AI Companion icon on the toolbar.

Instructions

Activate the Zoom AI Companion Features in Your Account

  1. Go to tennessee.zoom.us. 
  2. Select Create or Log In to log in with your UT NetID and password. 
  3. In the left side menu, select Settings. Then, select AI Companion at the top of window.
  4. For the options you want to activate, click the toggle button to turn them on. For example, turn on meeting summary and/or smart chapters for cloud recordings.

Engage Zoom AI Companion During the Meeting

After enabling AI Companion features, select the AI Companion icon on the toolbar to engage the tools in during the meeting.
