Zoom: Share iPhone Screen from a Desktop Meeting

Overview:

Zoom is capable of iOS screen sharing from iPhone and iPad while using the Zoom desktop client. Sharing can is enabled via iOS Screen Mirroring or by connecting the iOS device to a Mac computer with a cable.

 

Instructions

Enable Screen Sharing on Mac Desktop:

  1. Open System Preferences
  2. Click on Sharing
  3. Place a Check in the Screen Sharing option and Bluetooth Sharing option
  4. Close System Preferences

 

Sharing Your iOS Device While in a Desktop Meeting:

  1. Select the Share Screen icon at the bottom of the meeting window.
  2. Select iPhone/iPad via AirPlay or iPhone/iPad via Cable from the available options
  3. Click Share in the bottom right corner of the screen share options window. 
  4. If prompted, install the requested plug-in
  5. Follow the directions on the window that opens.
  6. On your phone, swipe down from the top to open the control center and tap the Screen Mirroring Icon

  7. Choose the Zoom-(your computer name) option. 
  8. Participants now see your device.
