If you received the "Logon balancing error 88" message, it indicates that you do are not securely connected to one of the main campus networks.
A Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection is required for anyone connecting to IRIS via the SAPGui from outside of one of the main campus networks. This includes anyone using the SAPGui:
- From your office location, which is not on one of the main campus networks
- From home
- Via a workstation while travelling
The VPN should be used to create a connection to one of the campus networks, and then access to IRIS via the SAPGui will be allowed.
