Zoom: Play Audio Over Classroom Speakers

Overview

If you are using your laptop rather than the Cynap to host a meeting or to record a lecture, you will need to set up Zoom to play audio over your classroom speakers.

Instructions

Set Zoom to Play Sound Over Your Classroom Speakers:

1. Launch the Zoom app on your laptop and go to the Home screen.
2. Go to the Settings menu, and select Audio.
3. In the Speaker Section, under the Test Speaker drop-down menu, choose Same as System. (Note: on a Mac, this may have a name that the audio on the classroom generates. Example: DVX-11. Just try the different options available to you from that drop-down menu)
