Platform Services
The Platform Services team manages enterprise collaboration and automation tools across campus. They oversee Power Platform environment requests, ensuring proper provisioning and compliance while handling Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy changes to maintain security standards. This team facilitates Azure DevOps project creation, enabling streamlined development workflows, and uses Terraform Cloud to accelerate and standardize infrastructure deployment, while ensuring consistency and efficiency in cloud builds. Additionally, they manage university email services for both Google Mail and Outlook, providing reliable communication solutions. Their responsibilities include administering Microsoft 365 collaboration tools and licensing, including Teams for communication, SharePoint for document management, OneDrive for cloud storage, and Planner for task organization. Through their expertise, the Platform Services team delivers scalable, secure technology solutions that support the university’s digital ecosystem.
Cloud Infrastructure
The UTK Cloud Infrastructure team manages and optimizes cloud infrastructure across Azure, Google, and AWS Cloud services. We provide subscriptions and access to groups and data in the cloud and give guidance as you migrate your workloads into cloud-based solutions. Additionally, we offer comprehensive Power Platform administration to protect your business processes, custom applications, and access to the Dataverse. Our expertise in DevOps migrations ensures smooth transitions, enabling continuous delivery and operational efficiency.
