The Custom Applications staff design and build online applications for various UTSA departments when possible commercial solutions are either not affordable or not able to meet their specific requirements.
Among the applications currently in use:
- IDEA and OSPREY (Invention Disclosure) for the UT Research Foundation
- 1098 Tax Form Printing and Direct Deposit Enrollment for the UT Payroll Office
- Faculty References Management for the UT Personnel Office
- FlyUT for the UT President’s Office/Airplane Fleet Management
- Gift Agreement Generation and Approvals for the UT Foundation
- PCI Suite and Security Audit Exception applications for the CISO
Custom applications are developed with Adobe’s ColdFusion software on an MS/SQL database, and on an Oracle platform using their APEX (Application Express) software.
