Sending an email to the group email address @utk.edu that is generated by Google when you create your Google Group will not work in our environment. If you need to create an email address to send mail to a group of individuals, OIT recommends requesting an AD Email-enabled group. AD Email-enabled groups can be created by contacting the OIT HelpDesk. AD Email-enabled groups are synced to Google nightly.
