Are you traveling soon and just not sure how to secure your own laptop for travel? OIT has several loaner laptops available for check out by faculty and staff to use while traveling on university business. The laptops are hardened and secured to meet ORE guidelines so that you can leave your own devices and data at home.
The loaner laptops will allow you to manage email, view your calendar, run presentations, edit documents, and connect to university websites. The device is set up specifically for your use and wiped back to factory settings when you return it. The device uses the campus secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) and provides you with a secure platform for the duration of your travel.
