When performing work duties away from the office in any remote location, it is imperative that you ensure your desktop, laptop, tablet, etc., is as secure as possible. Never connect to an unsecured wireless network, and try to make sure you are running a VPN (Virtual Private Network) client at all times to encrypt any traffic over the network. Remember, the University’s data is only as secure as we make it.
