The ZCAP_ESS – ESS Time Approval for Supervisors transaction provides approval functionality for supervisors before ESS time entry work items route to their IRIS Inbox.
- Time entry approvals work differently than most IRIS approvals. A program runs every morning at 6:30am to generate ESS time entry work items for approval by the supervisor.
- ZCAP_ESS allows supervisors to approve time entry work items before the program runs and work items are not yet available in the IRIS Inbox.
