Having previously entries, such as funds or personnel numbers, appear in IRIS can help speed screen entry. To turn on your keypress history,
- Click Customizing of local layout (Gear icon at the end of the button bar).
- Choose Options from the dropdown list.
- Expand the Local Data folder.
- Click on History.
- In the History Status section, click the On or Immediately option. This will turn your history on and provide you with your most recent entries. You may also set the “expiration time” and “maximum number of entries”.
- If you make changes, remember to press Apply before leaving the screen.
Tip: There is also a Clear History button if you wish to clear a mistake. However, this will clear the entire history and not just a single-entry error.
