Canvas: Add Emoji to Module Title

Use emojis for a stronger visual cue within your module headers to allow students to quickly scan content. We recommend that you use not more than one or two different emojis on the Modules pages to avoid clutter.

1. Visit Emojipedia or another website that offers emoji codes.
2. Enter the key word in the Search field or browse emojis by categories.
3. Select the emoji name. The emoji page will be displayed.
4. Select Copy below the emoji description.
5. Select Modules in the course menu of a Canvas course.
6. Select Options (three vertical dots) and select Edit.
7. Paste the copied emoji code into the module title text.
8. Update.
