YouTube: Accessing your UTK Google YouTube Account

Instructions

All active UT Knoxville Faculty, Staff, and Students have access to YouTube through Google Apps for Education.

1. Go to the Google website (http://www.google.com)
2. Click Sign in in the upper right corner.
3. Enter your full UTK email address as the username.
4. The page will redirect to the UTK login screen. Enter your full UTK email address once more and click Next.
5. Enter your UTK NetID password.
6. On successful authentication, you will see the Google website once more. Go to your Apps by selecting the 9 squares in the upper right.
7. You may have to click the More link to see the YouTube icon. Navigate to YouTube by clicking the grid icon in the upper right of the page.
8. Select YouTube.
   
9. If this is your first time logging in to YouTube, you will be prompted to type in your name. The home page for your account will be your first channel created upon sign-in.
