In MS Teams, you may want to pin certain chat conversations to the top of your list of chat conversations to keep them organized and find them easily. You can have up to 15 conversations pinned in your chat list. Other conversations will be in order of the most recent activity. Even if you can't find a message from someone, you can always start a new message, type their name, and then Teams will automatically add this message to your current conversation.
- In the Chat section of MS Teams, select the chat you wish to pin.
- Select the ellipsis ... menu to the right of the chat's name.
- In the drop-down menu, select Pin.
