LinkedIn Learning: Recommend a Learning Path

  1. Select Content from the Admin Account Center.
  2. Next, locate the content that you would like to share with individual learners or groups in the Explore tab. You can search for content, browse by topic, or search by job title.
    • To search for content, enter your keywords in the search bar.
    • Browse content topics by clicking the Topics icon next to the search bar.
    • To browse by profession, click the dropdown arrow next to Recommendations by Job Title.
    • LinkedIn Learning has recommended Learning Paths for your organization, which are located at the bottom of the Explore tab homepage.
    • You have multiple language libraries available to you, including Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, German, French, and Chinese (simplified). You can browse for courses in a specific language by clicking the Content-language dropdown next to the Topics icon.
  3. If you search by keyword or browse by Topic, choose Learning Paths under the Filters Type on the left side.
  4. Once you have found the curated learning path that you would like to recommend, click the arrow (Recommend) icon.
  5. If you would like to send the Learning Path to specific learners or groups, choose Recommend to learners/group from the dropdown list. Next, enter the learner or group names to whom you wish to recommend the content or check the box if you wish to Recommend to all users.
    • Optionally, you can enter a message or add a due date.
    • Click Send to share your content.
  6. Choose Get shareable link from the dropdown list that appears.  You will receive a confirmation message letting you know that the Shareable link has been copied to your clipboard. You can then share that URL in an email, on a website, or in your Canvas Course. NOTE: You must be granted sub-admin access before you can share LinkedIn Learning courses/links inside of your Canvas courses.

Watch a LinkedIn Learning video about being a sub-admin (this will require your UTK credentials and sign-in in to your LinkedIn account).

Contact the OIT HelpDesk to submit a request for sub-admin access.
