Canvas: Add Image to Course Card

Considerations

  • For best practice, images should be approximately 262 pixels wide by 146 pixels high.
  • Accepted course card image formats include JPG, JPEG, GIF, and PNG.

Instructions

How to add an image to a course card: 

  1. In Course Navigation, click the Settings link.
  2. Click the Course Details tab.
  3. You will see a box for Image - click the Choose Image button.
  4. To upload your own image, drag and drop an image from your computer into your browser window.

    Browse your computer and locate an image.
    - or -
    Use an image from Unsplash. Enter a search term in the Search field. Search results display all related images with a Creative Commons public domain license and may include more than one page.
    - or -
    Choose from the UTK Course Card Images we've compiled for you.
  5. Click the Update Course Details button.
