At the University of Tennessee, the Employee Compensation Compliance (ECC) is housed within the Huron Research Suite (HRS). In DASH Research, the Employee Compensation and Compliance (ECC) module is handled as part of the Huron Research Suite to expand research capabilities and ensure administrative excellence through the use of a modern, cloud-based solution for “managing the business of research”.
For all updates regarding DASH Research, please refer to the DASH Research Homepage.
The Employee Compensation Compliance (ECC) system from the Huron Research Suite, supports a full range of activities allowing effort coordinators to partner with effort certifiers to verify the accuracy of certifications, beginning with the review of payroll expenditures charged to a sponsored project through the final step of effort certification, to ensure reasonable alignment between payroll and effort.
Please Note: Effort certification is now completed three times per year on a semester-based cycle.
The ECC Certifier focused Town Hall is a great resource to familiarize PI Certifiers with the new Project Payroll Confirmation Method of Certification.
The ECC Office Hours is a great resource to familiarize Effort Coordinators with the new Project Payroll Confirmation Method of Certification.
For a complete list of ECC & Labor Distribution (LD) specific training resources and job aides, please refer to the Employee Compensation Compliance (ECC) section of the DASH Research Homepage.
