There is an “Accommodations” section in the YuJa Verity setup. If you want to remove proctoring from a test-taker, please reference YuJa’s Setting Accommodations for Test-Takers instructions. If you’d like to give a student or group of students different YuJa Verity settings, then you need to already have an accommodations profile saved.
To accomplish this, the first step is to create an additional quiz (you’ll delete it at the end of this process, so there is no need to add questions or even publish the quiz).
-
Edit this quiz and select YuJa Verity.
Go through the Configuration Settings, select the platform you’d like your accommodated students to use (it doesn’t have to match the platform for the rest of the students), then select any other settings you need. At the end of the setup, select Save as Profile. Be sure to give it a name you’ll recognize as your accommodation.

-
Now you can go through Configure Settings in your actual quiz.
Configure Verity in your exam for the remainder of your class. On the Accommodations setup stage, select the student (or students) who need accommodation settings from the list of students on the left. Then apply the profile and save the settings.
-
Now you can delete the quiz that you used to create the accommodation profile.
Be sure to click on the YuJa Verity link in the course navigation and make sure that your accommodation quiz isn’t showing there. You’ll need to delete it from YuJa as well as from your Quizzes area.

NOTE: This process is only about accommodating students within YuJa Verity and its settings. This has nothing to do with allowing a student an extra attempt or granting them extra time on each attempt. That process remains the same and is accomplished by going through the Moderate area of the quiz.
