JMP: How to Access JMP Student Edition on Apps@UT

Overview

Enrolled UTK students, faculty, and staff can use JMP Student Edition for university-related teaching, learning, and academic research purposes only. JMP Student Edition may not be used for commercial research or administrative purposes. While instructions to install JMP Student Edition are available on the OIT Software Download Website, JMP Student Edition is also accessible via Apps@UT. To access JMP Student Edition via Apps@UT, you must have a My JMP account and access to university email.

Instructions

If you do not already have a My JMP account please do the following:

  1. Navigate to the OIT Software Download Website, open the dropdown menu for “JMP”, and download the instructions for the current version of the JMP Academic License.
  2. Work through Steps 1 – 5 of the software instructions to setup your My JMP account.
  3. Once completed, log on to Apps@UT and start JMP via the JMP Student Edition icon.
  4. After starting JMP you will be prompted to log in with your My JMP login credentials.
  5. Navigate to your UT email to retrieve the software verification code to complete the JMP login procedure.
