Instructions for Students
Option 1: Access the Similarity Report through Assignments:
In the course navigation menu, select the
Assignments
link.
Select the Assignment for which you would like to view the Similarity Report.
Open the Similarity Report by selecting the percentage next to where it says, “Review Feedback.” If the assignment details do not show the similarity score, then the Similarity Report may need more time to process or may be unavailable. The instructor may have set up the assignment not to allow students to view the Similarity Report or may have set it up for students to view it at a later date. Check the assignment again later.
Note:
A new Similarity Report will generate for every file upload.
If you have a similarity score, check out the
Interpreting the similarity score
for help understanding the score.

Grades
link.
Find and select the title of the
Assignment
.
If instructor comments have been added to an assignment, students will see the number of comments added. Select
the box with the number
to open comments. A dialog box will open and you will be able to see the comment.

The Canvas page with the uploaded assignment will now be visible. Select
