The Computer Upgrade Program (CUP) is a centrally funded program designed to upgrade the computer equipment of UTK faculty and staff once every four years. Funding for the program is annual and depends on available resources each year.
Approved faculty or staff members may purchase one of these systems as configured or go to one of the university’s contract vendor websites and update one of these configurations to a custom system. However, the selection must meet or exceed the recommended “like” CUP configuration, and reimbursement is limited to the cost of the standard configuration quotes listed below. Please note that all CUP standard configuration quotes this year include a minimum 4-year warranty with accident care.
