ATLAS.ti: Access through Apps@UTK

ATLAS.ti is qualitative data analysis (QDA) software that allows users to locate, code, and annotate findings in text-based and multimedia data and visualize the complex relationships between these data.                         

Before accessing ATLAS.ti 9 on Apps@UTK, each user must first create and register their Email address at AtlasTI.com.  

  1. Navigate to https://www.atlasti.com, click on the My ATLAS.ti link at the top of the page, and create an account with your @UTK.edu email address and a password.

  2. Once your account is created and verified, log into www.my.atlasti.com and activate the UT license on the home screen.  Enter the invitation code found in the UTK software download site instructions under Atlas.ti.

  3. Once you click Activate License, log out of my.atlasti.com and log into Apps@UTK and launch AtlasTI_9.
  4. When you click on the Atlas TI 9 icon on Apps@UTK you will see the initial Welcome screen. Click on the: “Go to Login” button on the lower right.

  5. Sign in with your Email address and password you registered at Atlas TI. Now you will be able to run Atlas.ti 9 on Apps@UTK.
