Using the OIT Service Portal

Overview

The OIT Service Portal is home to the TeamDynamix Client Portal. The service portal is where University faculty, staff, and students can submit help requests or find answers in the Knowledge Base. To access the OIT Service Portal, go to https://help.utk.edu. Click Sign In at the top of the page to log in with your NetID and Password. Logging in will allow you to view all of your tickets, favorited services, and favorited Knowledge Base articles.

Service Catalog

The Services tab lists all OIT services organized by category. Submitting a ticket through the relevant service form helps us troubleshoot faster and route your request to the right OIT team. If you’re not sure which service to choose, the Submit a Request option in the navigation menu lets you quickly create a ticket for several of our most common requests.

Submit a Request

  1. Service request forms can be found by clicking a category on the Services tab or by entering keywords in the search box at the top of the page.
  2. On the service page, select Submit a Request and fill out the form.
  3. **You can also add frequently requested services to your favorites list by clicking Add to Favorites when viewing the service. 

View My Tickets

  1. Sign in to the OIT Service Portal by clicking Sign In at the top of the page to log in with your NetID and Password. If you see your name in that spot instead, that means you’re already signed in. 
  2. Select the Services tab. 
  3. Select Ticket Requests.

Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base tab groups all of our self-help articles by category. The A-Z Article Index displays articles alphabetically. You can also add frequently accessed knowledge articles to your favorites list by clicking Add to Favorites when viewing the service.
