Course Access
Course Access (Graduate Students)
Course Access is a textbook program for graduate students at UTK. Instead of paying one flat fee, graduate students pay for each required book or material individually. Most materials are digital and are available directly in Canvas. If a class requires a printed textbook, students can buy it separately outside of the program.
Because graduate students usually need fewer textbooks, Course Access provides a cost-effective and streamlined way to obtain necessary academic materials.

Total Access (Undergraduate Students)
Total Access is a textbook program for undergraduate students at UTK. Students pay one flat fee each semester and receive all required course materials. Digital materials are delivered directly through Canvas for immediate access, while required physical textbooks can be picked up at VolBooks or shipped to students when needed.
Total Access makes it easier for undergraduates to get all their textbooks at the beginning of the semester, reducing the stress of sourcing textbooks individually.
