If you wish to hide participants' names in a Zoom recording, there are options to do so both in the local recording and the cloud recording. Be sure to complete the following steps prior to starting the recording.
To explore the options:
- Access cloud recording settings via the UT Zoom site at tennessee.zoom.us.
- Use your UPN as your username:
- Your UPN is the email address used to sign in to UT services, such as email, typically in this format:
- Password: Your NetID Password
- After logging in select Settings and then Recordings.
- In the Advanced Cloud Recordings section, remove (if applied) the check in the option to display participants' names in the recording.
- In a local recording,
- Log into the Zoom Workplace desktop application and select the gear icon on the top-right. Or, if you're on a Mac, select the Profile icon on the top-right and then choose Settings.
- Select Recordings.
- Remove the check by the item to display participants' names in the recording.
