DASH: Time Zone Showing as UTC in DASH

This article explains why DASH may continue to display UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) as your “Local Time” in the Contact Info section of “My Public Info”, even if you have set your local time zone in your user preferences.  

The “Local Time” field in the Contact Info section is a system-wide field that is configured to display in UTC only, this is not an error. This setting is not controlled by user-specific time zone preferences, and it cannot be changed or customized.  

Your set time zone preferences in DASH will apply to: 

  • Your personal view of dates and times in DASH 

  • Time stamps in dashboards, reports, and workflows 

  • Notifications and approval routing logs 

 

“Local Time” under Contact Info will always be displayed in UTC for consistency across the system.
