If your name is not appearing in Microsoft tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams), The UT directory, or other UT platforms after the DASH transition, it may be due to a privacy flag carried over from IRIS or a misconfigured disclosure setting in DASH. This issue also prevents name syncing with Microsoft 365.
Step 1: Update Disclosure Settings in DASH
1. Log in to DASH
2. Navigate to:
Me > Personal Information > Contact Info > Phone Release > Edit (Pencil Icon)
3. Set the dropdown value to:
A – Complete Information
4. Click Save
(Wait 24-72 hours for changes to sync to other systems)
Step 2: Open/Update TDX ticket to remove privacy flag
If after setting your DASH disclosure to “A - Complete Information” and your information is still hidden, you will need to open a new TDX ticket or update your current TDX ticket. In the ticket, please indicate when you updated your DASH disclosure, and that your information is still showing as hidden. Please request that the privacy flag be removed manually.
Step 3: Confirm Name in other UT Systems
After the privacy flag is cleared and the sync has completed, your display name should update in:
