DASH: Oracle Guided Learning (OGL) Overview

Oracle Guided Learning – or “OGL” – is an information and learning tool embedded directly within DASH that provides real-time, in-application guidance for a variety of tasks, processes, reminders, alerts, and more. DASH users can access resources such as OGL Process Guides that provide step-by-step guidance directly within DASH and Smart Tips that help give context to fields and buttons in the system.

To access OGL within DASH, click on the orange OGL Widget displayed by default on the right-hand side of the screen – as seen in the first screen shot below – to review all of the OGL Process Guides currently available. (You are able to move the OGL Widget around on your screen if it is ever blocking information in DASH that you need to review.)

If you are new and are not sure where to begin, click on the “Start Here” Display Group heading to review introductory OGL resources, such as the “How to Use Oracle Guided Learning” and “Welcome to DASH” Process Guides.

For assistance with questions about using DASH, review the DASH Support page on the Friends of DASH website.
