What is LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn Learning is an online learning platform offering video courses taught by industry experts. It is easy to use, accessible 24/7 from any device, and features short programs organized in chapters, typically no longer than 10 minutes. You can log in from anywhere using your University of Tennessee credentials.

Using LinkedIn Learning @ UTK

We are enabling access to LinkedIn Learning material for any faculty member, staff member, or student who would like to learn something new using LinkedIn Learning's innovative learning environment. Your LinkedIn Learning account is customized to your preferences. New content is added frequently to offer the most up-to-date training. Within your LinkedIn Learning account, you can receive course recommendations and tips to keep your learning on track. To subscribe, go to Me > Settings > Manage Your Account > Email Subscriptions. Click the word Off and it will change to On.

As a faculty or staff member, you can recommend and share custom learning paths and collections with your students and colleagues. LinkedIn Learning also provides learning paths to recommend or share that can be tailored to the unique needs of your learners.  You must be granted sub-admin access before you can share LinkedIn Learning courses/links inside of your Canvas courses. Watch a LinkedIn Learning video about being a sub-admin.

Contact the OIT HelpDesk to submit a request for sub-admin access.

Complete instructions for recommending or sharing collections, learning paths, or LinkedIn Learning-curated learning paths are available in the OIT Knowledge Base:
