Overview
Staff and faculty at the University of Tennessee have full access to the Microsoft A5 license. This includes additional Microsoft software, such as Power BI Pro. With Power BI Pro, you can publish content to other workspaces, share dashboards, subscribe to dashboards and reports, and share with other Pro license users.
UT students have access to Power BI Free through their Microsoft A5 license, which lets them access content they create for personal use.
Access
To access Power BI Pro, log in at Microsoft Power BI (tiny.utk.edu/powerbi).
Using Power BI Pro
OIT does not provide support for the use of Power BI Pro. However, tutorial videos are available on LinkedIn Learning.
You can download Power BI Desktop directly from the Microsoft website. If Windows prompts you to install Power BI through the Microsoft Store and that installation is blocked, you may instead use the direct download page.
