  • What services does Student Computer Support offer for students who need to run Windows on their Macs? 
    • SCS provides full support for Windows 11 on a Mac using Parallels.
    • Note: Parallels is a separate product that must be purchased.
  • What support does Student Computer Support offer for computers running Parallels?
    • OIT will provide full support for Macs running Parallels.  Students must download the Parallels app and a current Windows ISO before dropping off the computer.
  • What support does Student Computer Support offer for computers configured in a foreign language?
    • OIT will provide best-effort support for computers configured in a foreign language.
  • What must I provide when picking up my computer at the OIT Service Center?
    • For security reasons, a valid photo ID must be provided when picking up your computer at the OIT Service Center.  If another individual needs to pick up your machine, you must specify this at the point of drop off or respond through email to your ticket specifying an alternative person.   
    • If another individual is given permission to pick up your computer, they must also present a photo ID at the time of pickup.
