Microsoft Teams: Upload a File to a Channel

There are 2 ways to share files to a channel in Microsoft Teams. Both allow you to upload multiple files at a time. 

Method 1 - Notifies in the channel 

  1. In the channel, select the paper clip below the Type a new message box. 

  1. Select Recent, Browse Teams and Channels, OneDrive or Upload from my computer. 
  2. Find your file and select Share. 
  3. Type a message and select the send arrow. 

Method 2 – No notification 

  1. In your Channel, select the Files tab on the top bar. 

  1. Select Upload to upload a file from your computer.
