Microsoft Teams: Logging into your Mobile App

Overview

This brief article will walk you through logging in to your Teams mobile app.

Instructions

Log in to the Teams Mobile App

  1. Select the Teams icon on your phone.
  2. Select the account that you will use for Teams.

  1. Click on the Work or School option for the account type.

Select Your Account type: Personal or Work/School

 

  1. Enter your password and select Sign in.

Enter your UTK password and then select Sign In.

 

  1. Select How you want Teams to use Your Location?

  1. Begin using the app.

Activity screen is viewable upon login.

 

Teams Mobile App Toolbar

At the bottom of the screen is a toolbar with several icons that help you navigate Microsoft Teams

  • Activity (Bell): View all of the activity in Teams, including unread chats, @mentions, posts in channels, replies, reactions, and more.
  • Chat: Access your one-on-one and group conversations. You can send messages, share files, and stay connected.
  • Teams: View the Teams and Channels that you are a member of.
  • Calendar: View your upcoming meetings and appointments, join scheduled Teams meetings, and create new meetings directly from the app.
  • More (…): Access additional features and apps, such as Calls, Files, and other available tools in your team's environment.
