Zoom: Recording Layout Options

There are a variety of recording layout options available. For example, Speaker View and Gallery View are two options available for meeting hosts. Hosts may select different options in their UT Zoom account recording settings depending on their preferences. Please review this page on the recording layout options when recording locally or recording to the cloud.

To review your UT Zoom account recording options, please follow the steps below.

  1. In a browser tab or window, please go to tennessee.zoom.us.
  2. Once on the page, select Create or Edit Account.
    1. Use your UPN as your username: 
    2. Your UPN is the email address used to sign in to UT services, such as email, typically in this format:
      1. Faculty and Staff: Use NetID@utk.edu 
      2. Students: Use NetID@vols.utk.edu 
      3. Look up your UPN online if you aren’t sure which email address you should be using
    3. Password: Your NetID Password​​​​​​​
  3. Select Settings on the left, and then Recording.

NOTE: Available layout options depend on the device being used to record the session, the content being shared, and if the session is being recorded locally or to the cloud.
