T-Storage: Open Files on the H: or I: Drive from Apps@UTK

Instructions

To open files saved to T-Storage while running an application via Apps@UTK:

Note: The steps for your specific program may differ slightly.

1.  Select File, then Open.

  • NOTE: If you are using a Mac, you will receive a prompt after clicking open that asks "How do you want to access files from this application?". Click Read & Write so that you will be able to open and edit the file.

2. Select This PC in the left-hand pane, then select your T-Storage Home Area (H:) (tshome.utk.edu).

3.  Find your file and click Open.
