DASH: Fixing HTTP Errors When Logging into DASH

This article addresses how to resolve an HTTP error that may appear when trying to log in to DASH after selecting “Employee Self-Service, Finance, Human Resources, Facilities" followed by “Company Single Sign-on".  

 

Step 1: Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies 

  1. Open your browser settings (Usually found under Menu > Setting > Privacy and Security)  

  1. Clear: 

  • Browsing History 

  • Cookies 

  • Cached files 

  1. Close all browser windows completely 

  1. Reopen your browser and try accessing DASH again

Step 2: Clear Your Browser Page Cache and Cookies 

  1. Open the application 

  1. Click the Setting Icon next to the URL  

  1. Choose “Cookies and site data” → “Manage cookies”   

  1. Search for the domain (e.g., oraclecloud.com or the company domain, like tennessee.edu) 

  1. Remove all cookies for that site 

  1. Log out of profile 

  1. Reload the page and log in again 

 

Step 3: Try an Alternate Browser 

If clearing your cache does not work: 

  • Try using a different browser 

  • Ensure your browser is completely up to date 

 

Step 4: Use the original DASH Link, Avoid Bookmarks 

If you are using a saved or bookmarked link to DASH: 

  • Try navigating to the DASH landing page at the link below: 

 

dash.tennessee.edu
